We must pay more careful attention, therefore, to what we have heard, so that we do not drift away. For since the message spoken through angels was binding, and every violation and disobedience received its just punishment, how shall we escape if we ignore so great a salvation? This salvation, which was first announced by the Lord, was confirmed to us by those who heard him. God also testified to it by signs, wonders, and various miracles, and by the gifts of the Holy Spirit distributed according to his will.

Hebrews 2:1-4 (NIV)

• Pray for believers and new converts in Tanzania that face persecution. Pray that they would not drift away from the faith they have claimed in Jesus.
• Pray for the churches to use the gifts of the Holy Spirit to minister and reach out to their surrounding communities that have yet to hear about Jesus.
• Pray for the many Muslims who have heard the Gospel message but have ignored it’s call. Pray that God would soften their hearts and bring along believers who will continue to challenge and share with them.
