This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. If we claim to have fellowship with him yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin. If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word is not in us.
1 John 1:5-10 (NIV)
Today is the last day of prayer for the month of Ramadan. Even though your commitment to pray for this time is over, let us continue to intercede on behalf of the many who do not yet have Jesus reigning in their hearts. Let us always remember one another in prayer as Paul says in Galatians 6:18. In conclusion to these last 30 days of prayer, let us always keep in mind the Day we are waiting for and may we invite many more into the Glorious Day!
After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands. And they cried out in a loud voice: “Salvation belongs to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb.”
Revelation 7:9-10 (NIV)
